The little Saône heading north: Round trip to Gray
From our license-free electric boat rental base in Pontailler-sur-Saône, head upstream on the Petite Saône to discover the charm of the most natural section of this river, heading towards Franche-Comté.
You’ll pass through the charming villages of Heuilley-sur-Saône and Mantoche, a friendly little village in Haute-Saône with a pleasant nautical stop. From Mantoche, you’ll have 1 hour of navigation to reach Gray. You can enjoy your stop to visit the town and take advantage of the shops and restaurants for your lunch break before returning to Pontailler-sur-Saône.
The little Saône heading south: Round trip to Auxonne
Depart from our license-free barge rental base in Pontailler-sur-Saône and head south on the Saône to reach the charming town of Auxonne.
An enjoyable journey with only one lock to pass through. You’ll pass through the village of Lamarche-sur-Saône, which is interesting to visit. The sole lock on this route is located halfway between Lamarche-sur-Saône and Auxonne. Upon arrival in Auxonne, you can enjoy a lunch break before returning your license-free electric boat to Pontailler-sur-Saône.
